Lot #77. Jean-Noël Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet Cailleret 2007

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94 AM.
"From 35+ year old vines. This is the most elegant wine in the entire range, including the Bâtard. With citrus, acacia, white peach and a touch of oak serving as a refined introduction for the detailed and ultra pure middle weight flavors built on a base of intense minerality and culminating in a vibrant finish that is both long, palate etching and explosive. This is really very fine and the purity and transparency here are remarkable, in fact it is arguably the Caillerets of the 2007 vintage. Highly recommended." Burghound.com, Jul 01, 2009
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $45
