Lot #520. Haut-Brion 1959

Description: Consists of 4 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 100 JL.
"Picture an incredibly, sexy, sensuous woman lounging in a cigar shop, and you only start getting the idea. I've posted more than enough notes on the array or tobacco and other scents that there is no need to repeat them here. What made this a breathtaking bottle was its purity of fruit, concentration and sensual, silky, elegant textures, with a finish that never quit. Paired against the 1961, (Both bottles came from the chateau) they were equally perfect, but quite distinctive in their style. This is intellectual hedonism at its best!" Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider, Sep 14, 2016
Notes: 1 x 4cm, 1 x 4.5cm, 2 x 5cm, lightly scuffed capsules, 3 corroded capsules, 1 heavily corroded capsules, bin soiled and scuffed labels, 2 lightly mold stained labels, 1 torn label.
