94 JG. "The 2012 Maison Jadot Suchots is absolutely stellar and will be one of the great premier crus to emerge from the domaine’s cellars this year. The gorgeous bouquet delivers an utterly classic blend of cassis, sweet dark berries, coffee bean, dark soil tones, woodsmoke, gamebirds and a nice touch of new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and youthfully complex, with a sappy core of black fruit, superb transparency, fine-grained tannins and excellent focus and grip on the very, very long and primary finish. A great bottle of Suchots." View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2013, Issue #48 |
