89-91 AM. "From vines situated next to those of Faiveley and Prieur near the bottom of the slope on the Vougeot side. This too is quite floral but here the aromas are surprisingly more high-toned with black raspberry and distinct earth notes that merge into round, precise and supple flavors that suddenly become tight as a drum with a very firm and youthfully austere finish. This is very taut with ample structure that is fashioned in a serious, old school style that will require a number of years to fully arrive at its apogee. Good stuff but be prepared to wait."
