"Good deep red-ruby. Lovely lift to the aromas of black raspberry and black cherry. Round and rather graceful in the mouth, with complex smoky soil tones adding interest to the deep flavors of raspberry, crushed stone and spice. Showed a redder fruit character as it opened in the glass. Finishes smooth and lush but youthfully tight, with substantial dusty tannins and excellent length." Vinous, Mar 2008 |
