"The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny “les Fuées” from Maison Louis Jadot is excellent, wafting from the glass in an aromatic constellation of red and black cherries, red plums, a touch of violet, gamebirds, a complex base of soil tones, woodsmoke and gentle new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows excellent mid-palate depth, with suave, elegant tannins, lovely sappiness and a very long, soil-driven and elegant finish.
