Lot #8. Grand-Puy-Lacoste 1966

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 18 JR.
"Wonderful deep ruby – looks very healthy. Beautifully sweet with a certain delicacy now, though surely one of the more vigorous 1966s at more than 40 years old. Sweet and complete with a very slighlty dry finish but still marching on. Long and rewarding – not frail at all. No awkwardness or austerity. A great 1966." Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, May 2009
Provenance: The Farallon Cellar
Notes: 1 high shoulder, 1 upper mid shoulder, 1 corroded and lightly torn capsule, bin soiled, scuffed, damp stained, 1 lightly wine stained and 1 lightly torn labels, 1 sign of slight past seepage.
