95 AM. "From a 0.12 ha parcel of vines on the Chassagne side planted in 1926 and abutting one of the parcels owned by the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. As one would reasonably expect given the superb track record of Niellon's Bâtard, this is a clear step up in virtually every aspect with another dimension of aromatic elegance and complexity to the ripe and slightly exotic nose of both yellow and white orchard fruits and acacia blossom. The big, rich and sweet flavors are massively scaled yet despite all of the size and weight, it remains in absolutely perfect balance as the outstanding density of the mid-palate buffers completely the firm acid spine."
