Lot #48. Robert Groffier Bonnes-Mares 1997

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94+ ST.
"Knockout aromas of black and red fruits, flowers, mocha and game. Great freshness and grip on the palate; at once thick and penetrating. Superripe flavors of framboise and blackberry. This powerfully structured wine quickly closed up in the glass. Very subtle and very long on the aftertaste. Another remarkable '97: the crop level here was just 22 hectoliters per hectare, according to Serge Groffier." Vinous, Mar 2000
Provenance: The Mont Blanc Cellar
Notes: 2cm, Lightly wrinkled capsules, lightly damp stained, very lightly scuffed labels.
