"This vineyard is situated on the north side of the village next to Bas Maizières and is the only separately declared example of which I am aware. A deft and more discreet touch of wood spice frames a ripe and expressive nose combining mostly black pinot fruit and cassis notes as well as a bit of underbrush nuance that introduces supple, round and again, very suave and mouth coating flavors that are nicely seductive while culminating in a firm finish that possesses a textured and appealing mouth feel.
