Lot #11. Langoa-Barton 1982

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 92 NM.
"Tasted with Anthony Barton at the Saint-Julien restaurant and decanted and served blind, this is a seriously fine 1982 that deserves a higher reputation. It has a 'complete' bouquet with blackberry, mint, a touch of cooked meat giving away its age, hints of dried herbs that develop with time. But overall, it has managed to retain that sense of opulence that defines this vintage. The palate is full-bodied and silky-smooth in texture with still that lifted, glycerine-tinged finish that satiates the senses. Drinking perfect now, this is a lovely Langoa Barton. Tasted November 2011." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Mar 2012
Notes: Very top shoulder, very lightly scuffed capsule, wine stained, very lightly scuffed, very lightly bin soiled, very lightly torn label.
