Lot #30. L'Arrosée 1982

Description: Consists of 4 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 95 RP.
This was tasted from magnum as it is the only format I have left in the cellar. Some noticeable bricking and amber at the edge are followed by stunning aromatics of loamy soil, underbrush, kirsch, and oak as well as floral undertones. There are no hard edges to be found in this silky wine, just plush notes of jammy black cherries, plums, figs, earth, and spice. Broad and full-bodied with fully melted tannins, good minerality, and a long finish, this is one of the finest l’Arrosees ever made. It has been mature for at least a decade, but shows no signs of falling apart. It will keep for at least another decade. Wine Advocate #183, Jun 2009
Provenance: The Bouvreuil Cellar
Notes: 1 Base neck, 2 very top shoulder, 1 high shoulder, 2 nicked capsules, 1 slightly protruding cork, 1 slightly recessed cork, 3 heavily damp stained, 1 lightly damp stained, lightly scuffed, lightly faded labels.
