93+ JG. "The 2010 Les Baudes is exceptional, with the depth, mid-palate sappiness and beautiful transparency to its underlying terroir of the top wines of the vintage. The great nose soars from the glass in a youthful blend of black cherries, dark berries, espresso, really complex soil tones, woodsmoke, fresh herbs and a deft touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and utterly suave, with superb focus, a sappy core, great soil signature, refined tannins and exceptional length and grip on the perfectly poised and youthful finish. Just a beautiful bottle of Baudes." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2011, Issue #36 |
