"The barrel sample of 2013 Mâcon Bussieres Le Monsard les Heritiers du Comte Lafon needed a little SO2 that Dominique will apply soon, but it appears to have an outgoing, almost brioche-tinged bouquet that is beautifully defined. The palate is smooth, rounded and sumptuous with slightly lower acidity than the 2012 but there is evidence of huge weight on the finish. Anyone who has tasted with Dominique Lafon in Meursault and Mâcon will know that his passion is shared equally between both." Wine Advocate #215, Oct 2014 |
