93+ JG. "The 2010 Petite Chapelle is the best rendition I have yet tasted from Maison Jadot. The deep, pure and utterly refined nose jumps from the glass in a blend of black cherries, plums, raw cocoa, woodsmoke, beautiful soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and complex, with lovely transparency, a sappy core and excellent length and grip on the ripely tannic and tangy finish. Just a classic example of this utterly underrated premier cru." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2011, Issue #36 |
