"The 2009 Morey Premier Cru was really showing well in early December. The bouquet is deep, very pure and refined, as it soars from the glass in a blaze of black cherries, dark berries, cocoa, fresh herb tones, very complex minerality and a nice touch of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish, pure and intensely flavored, with a fine core of fruit, good acids, ripe tannins and really fine length and grip on the focused and very classy finish.
