Lot #226. Louis Jadot (Maison Louis Jadot) Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Vaucrains 2012

Description: Consists of 4 Half Bottles, 0.375L
Score: 93+ JG.
"As promising as the 2012 Nuits St. Georges “Perrières” is in the Jadot cellars this year, the Vaucrains will be an impressive step up in quality! The exceptional nose jumps from the glass in a refined blend of red and black cherries, cocoa, woodsmoke, gamebirds, a touch of balsam bough, a very, very complex base of soil and a deft framing of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and youthfully sappy at the core, with a lovely signature of soil, ripe, fine-grained tannins and excellent focus and balance on the very, very long, pure and primary finish. High class juice!" John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2013, Issue #48
Provenance: The Sea Cliff Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $150
