"Marco Capra’s vineyard is located in the hilltop region of Santo Stefano Belbo, between the Langhe and Monferrato districts. The estate manages 18 hectares of vineyards. His wines are made under the careful instruction of consulting enologist Dante Scaglione, who is also the consulting winemaker at Bruno Giacosa. Grape Varietal(s): 100% Nebbiolo. Terroir: This rosé is made fom Nebbiolo grapes fom the Roero Zone. The soil is made up of sand and limestone. Vinification: Following a short period of cold maceration on the skins, the grapes are fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled without any form of fining. Tasting Notes: This wine is pink in color and its nose has hints of red fuit and violets. It displays red fuit on the palate, balanced acidity and a lingering finish." |
