97+ JG. "The 2010 Dujac Bonnes-Mares is another absolute tour de force. The deep, pure and stunning nose offers up scents of red and black cherries, red plums, raw cocoa, gamebirds, mustard seed, wonderfully complex soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and sappy at the core, with a great signature of soil, ripe, seamless tannins, tangy acids and brilliant length and grip on the still quite reserved, but magically delineated finish. This is such an amazingly refined and balanced example of Bonnes-Mares that it will likely last forever." View From The Cellar, Nov/Dec 2011, Issue #26 |
