"Dark red. Burgundian red fruits and baking spices on the rather exotic nose. Very suave in the mouth, with currant and woodsmoke flavors framed and carried by penetrating acid. Not at all overly sweet. This offers terrific claret-like definition and thrust. Mounts subtly but impressively on the back end." Vinous, Sep 2004
