Lot #40. La Louvière 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 91 NM.
"Tasted single blind at Southwold. This is a little smudged on the nose with notes of blackberry, raspberry and a touch of menthol. Tannic palate, brusque tannins with sous-bois and cigar box notes. A little short on the finish but it has a nice depth and purity. Lovely…what you might describe as a: “gentleman’s claret.” Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Jul 2009
Provenance: The White Collection
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $25
