Lot #27. Armand Rousseau Chambertin 1983

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93 AM.
"A soaring nose of mature yet vibrant and wonderfully spicy aromas undercut with earth, game and an interesting vegetal note is followed by rich, sweet, classy and powerful flavors that are still carrying noticeable structure on the finish. Not withstanding the tannins, this is probably as good as it's going to get though it may soften somewhat with additional age. In this format, there is absolutely no rush to drink up and it may very well last another 20 years. In short, this is a very impressive '83." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Jan 2005
Notes: 2.5cm, scuffed, lightly bin soiled and lightly wine stained label. 1983 US import label (per Cyrielle Rousseau).
