Lot #28. Latour 1979

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 90-92 NM.
"A beautiful plummy, aniseed-infused nose. Not powerful, but great balance with prunes, dried leaves and aniseed on palate. A little austere but drinking well now. Better than 1978. Intriguing. A second bottle in December 2004. Again that odd aniseed nose that is so distinct. High-toned, almost New Worldy . . . . The palate is fleshy with notes of redcurrant of coffee . . ." Neal Martin, Wine Journal
Notes: Top shoulder, very lightly scuffed capsule, lightly scuffed, lightly glue stained, lightly wrinkled, lightly bin soiled and nicked label, signs of slight past seepage.
