Lot #136. Maison Leroy Vosne-Romanée 1969

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: . AM.
"A surprisingly fresh though clearly fully mature nose of sous-bois, spice and earth leads to sweet, round and nicely precise flavors that display almost none of the slightly edgy acidity that can mark certain '69s. This is a lovely villages that has more than stood the test of time and it stands in stark contrast to a bottle that I had some years ago that was already beginning to dry out. Lovely stuff and is completely ready but holding well." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Dec 2006
Provenance: La Cave Oubliée
Notes: Very lightly scuffed capsule, lightly wine stained, lightly scuffed label.
