"Brassy gold color. Exotic and powerful scents of marzipan, chestnut honey, toffee apple and cappuccino are serious and brooding; I have a hard time imaging this as an aperitif. Dense and thick on the palate, showing rich apple pie and plum flavors which should pair well with the richest shellfish dishes or anything finished with brandy.
