Lot #4. Louis Jadot (Domaine Louis Jadot) Chambertin-Clos de Bèze 1985

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93 RP.
"The Chambertin-Clos de Beze, from the Clair-Dau estate vineyards, is the most enormous and structured of the 1985 Jadot red burgundies. It is also admirably concentrated, long, and impeccable. Jadot's 1985s are loaded with aromas and flavors of red fruits, are judiciously complemented by one-third new oak barrels, and have super color, thanks in part to a very high fermentation temperature of 35°-36° C." Burgundy Book # B2, Jan 1990
Provenance: The Taureau Cellar
Notes: 3cm, lightly corroded and lightly scuffed capsule, lightly scuffed label.
