92+ JG. "The 2007 Beaune “les Cras” (from one of the very best premier crus in the village) is excellent, as it offers up a deep and sappy nose of red and black cherries, fresh herbs, coffee, a lovely, complex base of soil, a hint of vinesmoke and lovely spice tones that should turn autumnal as the wine ages. On the palate the wine is medium-full, deep and pure, with excellent complexity and focus, fine-grained tannins, lovely acids and excellent length and grip on the tangy finish."
