Lot #267. Joseph Drouhin (Domaine) Beaune Clos des Mouches Rouge 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93 JG.
"The bouquet is deep, complex and extremely elegant, as it offers up a mélange of plums, black cherries, soil tones, violets, cocoa, a bit of citrus zest and a gentle base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and racy, with great structure again, a sappy core of fruit, and grand cru weight and grip on the long, suavely tannic and soil-driven finish." View From The Cellar, Jan/Feb 2007, Issue #7
Provenance: The Douze Collection
Notes: Lightly wrinkled vintage neck tag, nicked, lightly scuffed label.
