Lot #337. Héritiers Cosson Clos des Lambrays 1947

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 97-98 NM.
"An astounding wine . . . . Deep mahogany core with deep brown rim. An unbelievable nose of cigar box, wet earth, pain grille and scorched leather, all with superb definition. The palate is very harmonious with the silky texture of a Vosne-Romanée. Not full-bodied, but has a lovely naturalness about it with a sweet, almost caramel-tinged, rustic finish. Very long. An "experience" to remember." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Dec 1999
Provenance: The Gloire Collection
Notes: Lightly scuffed capsule, lightly bin soiled, lightly scuffed and nicked vintage neck tag, lightly scuffed, lightly bin soiled, and nicked label. Late release.
