"In the Armand Rousseau cellar you are given the Saint-Jacques to taste after the Clos de la Roche, Ruchottes and Mazis, and the Saint-Jacques is awarded a higher percentage of new oak. It is always the best of the wines . . . . This is a wine of real depth and dimension, slightly lusher and plumper than the two greatest Gevrey wines, but no less classy, no less inspiring.
