92 AM. "Discreet wood serves as a backdrop for the beautifully layered, ripe and complex nose of dark berry fruit, pungent earth, wet stone and plenty of the classic Corton sauvage character. There is fine concentration to the relatively supple and round medium-bodied flavors that display good power and plenty of dry extract that should be able to successfully integrate the wood toast that arrives on the lingering finish. I very much like the balance and this should amply reward . . ." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Oct 2013 |
