Lot #23. Haut-Brion 1974

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 98 DC.
"An intense, garnet color and loads of tobacco in the nose before the bouquet opens its peacock tail of aromas with licorice, porcini mushroom and bark in abundance. The mouthfeel has a frightening tension and is very fresh, upright and austere. A formidable wine." Daniele Cernilli, DoctorWine.it, Apr 2016
Provenance: The Chanteur Cellar
Notes: 1 x 2.5cm, 1 x 4.5cm, scuffed, lightly wine stained and cut Château-branded capsules to reveal Château- and vintage-branded corks, 1 heavily corroded capsule partially exposing cork, missing front labels, 1 sign of slight past seepage.
