. TF. "I made the wine, but it was still in the barrel when [I] left Inglenook. My idea wasn't to make a normal commercial wine, but a barrel or two of something special to put in auctions years in the future. I made a half dozen small lots of wine, intending to pick the best and bottle 50 to 100 cases . . . . I tasted it once, [and I] think I have a bottle or two in my cellar that they gave me. As I recall it was pretty good. The unique packaging is a replica of an earlier wine [with a] pre-prohibition label and resembles what Coppola is using today. Regarding who might be interested, only Coppola comes to mind though I approached them years ago if they were interested in wines and they only wanted my '41, '58' and'59 and they wanted to trade me for their current wines. That didn't interest me . . . . the label of the Cabinet Port is very similar to the Inglenook label that Coppola is now sporting, so they might look at the wine as having more potential than the wines labeled in the Heublein era."
