90 VM. "This cuvée, sourced primarily from lesser sites around Burg Layen that favor chalk-clay and sandstone, leads with a lovely nose of white peach, lime and sea breeze. The palate impression is delightfully chipper and animating, buoyant (at 12% alcohol), and subtly silken. This finishes with infectious primary juiciness, nuts and crystalline mineral impingements serving for invigorating counterpoint. I have seldom, if ever tasted a finer Diel generic."
