Lot #31. Rieussec 1971

Description: Consists of 7 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 95 NM.
"A similar colour to the 1976, perhaps even slightly more youthful. An exquisite nose of white flowers, coconut, apricot and white peach. Very fine definition. Lovely balance on the palate that has vibrant acidity, harmony, with notes of fresh citrus fruit laced with a touch of clear honey. Surprisingly minerally on the balletic finish. A superb 1971 that has decades ahead of it." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Dec 1999
Provenance: The Farallon Cellar
Notes: Very top shoulder, lightly corroded, 3 nicked, lightly scuffed capsules, lightly bin soiled, 3 wine stained, lightly damp stained, 2 lightly tissue stained labels.
