90+ JG. "Because of the hail in 2013, there is only a single bottling of Meursault this year, rather than two cuvées, and the wine has turned out very well indeed. The bouquet offers up a fine and very minerally constellation of apple, quince, chalky mineral tones, almonds and a topnote of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, long and very nicely reserved in style out of the blocks, with a lovely core, fine focus and cut and superb backend energy on the long and primary finish. Fine juice." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2014, Issue #54 |
