Lot #4325. Derenoncourt Cabernet Sauvignon Tache d'Encre 2007

Description: Consists of 3 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 93 WSM.
"Stéphane Derenoncourt sources this wine from a 3.5-acre block at the Ink Grade Ranch, a steep, northfacing hill on Howell Mountain planted in 1990. This starts off high toned, with red fruit and Christmas spice. The tannins encase it in iron, slowly releasing its depth of sweet red fruit and showing more clarity to the potent structure. A ripe 2007, with the powerful tannic presence to sustain it as it ages." Wine & Spirits Magazine, Dec 2010
Provenance: The Cambrian Cellar
Notes: 2 lightly scuffed capsules, lightly scuffed labels.
