Lot #404. Comte Georges de Vogüé Bonnes-Mares 1971

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 95 AM.
"Like the '71 Roumier Bonnes Mares, the bottle in this tasting is the best that I have ever had the pleasure of trying, indeed, this bottle was much, much better. A remarkably perfumed nose of highly complex and overtly sweet aromas with pronounced secondary nuances is followed by moderately structured middle weight flavors that, like the nose, are sweet and pure, all wrapped in a lovely, long and harmonious finish." Burghound.com, Oct 01, 2011
Provenance: The Alton Cellar
Notes: 5cm, lightly scuffed and lightly corroded capsule, lightly bin soiled, lightly scuffed and nicked label, signs of very slight past seepage.

Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $3,250
