Lot #529. Gruaud-Larose 2003

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 94 JMQ.
"What a pleasant surprise to find this wine at this level! A must of Saint-Julien for the vintage. Bright and slightly evolved color. Sweet nose, notes of cedar, pencil lead, precious wood, and fruit. Decanting makes it gain rare flesh here. Full, melting, tasty, the wine advances powerfully, long on complex flavors - licorice, flowers, and vanilla. It is superb! I invite you to taste it even if one can wait . . ." Jean-Marc Quarin, Quarin.com, Feb 2009
Notes: Price sticker residue on capsule, lightly scuffed label.
