"Bright, dark red. Vibrant, perfumed aromas and flavors of blackberry, black raspberry, minerals and violet; I would have been hard-pressed to identify this as a 2009. Chewy, dry and classic, showing outstanding concentration and density of texture. Quite compact and austere for 2009 but offers exciting potential. The tannins build on the palate-staining finish."
