96 JG. "Domaine Méo-Camuzet’s 2016 Cros Parantoux is going to be a reference point vintage for this great cuvée. The bouquet is pure, complex and already beautifully expressive and spicy, wafting from the glass in a refined mix of black raspberries, red plums, cinnamon, cloves, duck, lovely and quite complex minerality and spicy new oak. On the palate the wine is deep. full-bodied, pure and vibrant, with a sappy core of fruit, stunning mineral drive, fine-grained tannins and a very long, complete and vibrant finish. A great Cros Parantoux in the making." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2017, Issue #72 |
