. NM. "The 2015 Bourgogne Aligoté, which is aged in five- to eight-year-old barrels, has a light and slightly grassy bouquet. The palate has a pleasant roundness with moderate acidity, the barrel maturation lending some body to this wine, with a gentle toffee apple, brioche and marzipan finish. You know what? It seems an atypical and exotic Aligoté, but I hazard a guess that I would still finish a bottle." Wine Advocate #228, Dec 2016 |
