Lot #411. Robert Groffier Bonnes-Mares 1989

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 91 AM.
"Super saturated deep ruby red color with explosive aromas of black cherries, herbs, earth and tobacco, an excellent range of flavors of excellent character, superior depth and impressive length. Rather forward and expressive for young Bonnes-Mares and the oak is not subtle but there is no doubting the quality of the underlying material. This will best please those who enjoy a more modern style of Burgundy. This is already drinking well and while more time in the cellar won't hurt, it is easily approachable now . . ."
