93 JG. "The current release of the Godmé Père et Fils Brut Rosé is outstanding, as it offers up a classic, low-dosage profiles on both the nose and palate that are Monsieur Godmé’s preferred style of bubbly. The bouquet is a beautiful blend of crushed strawberries, orange zest, chalk, bread dough and dried flowers. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, seamless and beautifully balanced, with crisp acids, excellent focus, refined mousse and superb length and grip on the complex finish. A very classy bottle of Brut Rosé that should have no difficulty aging another fifteen years or more." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, May/Jun 2008, Issue #15 |
