95 JG. "We tasted the Les St. Georges 2014 out of a new cask, as the older barrels (which is what I usually taste during my visits at the domaine) were due for a racking and showing a bit of reduction. New wood- no problem here! The 2014 is a very red fruity version of this great terroir, offering up a beautiful and very sappy nose of cherries, red plums, gamebird, nutskin, strikingly complex minerality, roses and spicy wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and absolutely rock solid at the core, with impeccable focus, great balance and grip, ripe, seamless tannins and a very, very long, vibrant and tangy finish.
