Lot #1074. Domaine Méo-Camuzet Echézeaux Les Rouges du Bas 2013

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94+ JG.
"The 2013 Méo-Camuzet Echézeaux is another absolutely gorgeous wine in the making, with a lovely synthesis of purity, transparency and proper sense of reserve combining to make this vintage one of the finest young examples of this cuvée I have ever tasted here. The beautiful bouquet delivers scents of raspberries, cherries, woodsmoke, venison, fresh herb tones, Vosne spices, lovely soil nuances and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very minerally in personality, with a fine core of fruit, great soil signature, ripe tannins and a long, tangy and stunning young finish. Great juice in the making." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2014, Issue #54
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $2,000
