Lot #63. Margaux 2002

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 96 JMQ.
"This score is incredible for this vintage. The bottle showed very well - better than in Paris 12 months ago. Is it attributable to a longer decant, to the cork, or just the state of the wine right now? Intense color: dark and beautiful. Intense nose too: fine, fruity, pure, and finely truffled, with a note of coconut. Superb entry in the mouth - soft. The wine develops with a meticulous texture, melting yet powerful with a beautiful note of truffle. A fine-grained finale. Superb!" Jean-Marc Quarin, Quarin.com, Feb 2012
Provenance: The Frontière Cellar
Notes: 1 Nicked, 1 lightly scuffed, 1 scuffed labels.
