"The 2009 Pantheon is Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier. It shows tons of muscle in its black fruit, graphite, mint, violets and flowers, all in a broad shouldered frame loaded with intensity. Smoke, Provencal herbs, black olives and black pepper emerge on the muscular, firm finish. This is a terrific entry-level offering from Demetria.
