"This has coal, smoke and iodine with sanguine stony minerals and a very peppery edge on the nose. Don't miss the black cherries, plums, slate and intense dark chocolate either. The palate is crunchy, lithe, really juicy and there's a compact smooth and slinky feel to the tannins. Well-grounded, compressed and composed texture. There's a stony hint on the finish. Long.
