Lot #4830. The Bruery Terreux Pommereux 2017

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: . WE.
"Made in collaboration with Tin City Cider Co., this is a sour wheat ale aged in oak barrels with freshly pressed apple juice from a blend of field apples (including Golden Delicious, Fuji, Granny Smith, Gala, Gravenstein, Macintosh, Mutsu, Red Delicious and Pink Lady). As one would imagine, there's plenty of appley, cidery influence throughout the nose and mouth, with additional notes of citrus pith, apple skin, wild funk and tart white grape. The carbonation is bright and lively, which helps to balance out the medium-weight mouthfeel. There's a pleasant oak influence on the palate, with notes of grainy wood and dried baking spices that linger through the close. Overall, it's quite tart and mouth-puckering." Lauren Buzzeo, Wine Enthusiast, 9/1/2017
Notes: 2017 (7.1% ABV) release. Bottled 11/28/16 " Sour wheat ale aged in oak barrels with freshly pressed apple juice".
